10 or more

Scribblingwoman has a neat idea – a list of those authors by whom we’ve read at least 10 books.

As far as I can tell, my list is something like this (alphabetically):

  • Poul Anderson
  • Piers Anthony
  • Isaac Asimov
  • Stephen Baxter
  • Enid Blyton
  • David Brin
  • Orson Scott Card
  • C.J. Cherryh
  • Arthur C. Clark
  • Harry Harrison
  • Robert Heinlein
  • C.S. Lewis
  • Anne McCaffrey
  • Larry Niven
  • Terry Pratchett
  • E.E. ‘Doc’ Smith
  • David Weber
  • P.G. Wodehouse

The interesting thing, writing this list, is that quite a few of these authors I now never read at all, whereas others remain firm favourites even after years. I’ll leave you to try and work out which are which :-)

Of course, it also omits many of my favourite authors, simply because they’ve not written 10 books (or, at least, I’ve not discovered that they have!).
