10 or more
Scribblingwoman has a neat idea – a list of those authors by whom we’ve read at least 10 books.
As far as I can tell, my list is something like this (alphabetically):
- Poul Anderson
- Piers Anthony
- Isaac Asimov
- Stephen Baxter
- Enid Blyton
- David Brin
- Orson Scott Card
- C.J. Cherryh
- Arthur C. Clark
- Harry Harrison
- Robert Heinlein
- C.S. Lewis
- Anne McCaffrey
- Larry Niven
- Terry Pratchett
- E.E. ‘Doc’ Smith
- David Weber
- P.G. Wodehouse
The interesting thing, writing this list, is that quite a few of these authors I now never read at all, whereas others remain firm favourites even after years. I’ll leave you to try and work out which are which ![]()
Of course, it also omits many of my favourite authors, simply because they’ve not written 10 books (or, at least, I’ve not discovered that they have!).
pax et bonum
