'Evangelical' doesn't mean 'right wing'
Interesting article that Anne pointed me to, from the New York Times. It’s discussing Gregory Boyd, evangelical pastor of the 5000-strong Woodland Hills Church in St Paul, Minnesota, who has taken a stand disassociating the church from party politics. He’s not condoning abortion or homosexuality – but he is saying that pushing a party agenda has no place in the church.
