Sex slavery at the World Cup

sex slaves from eastern Europe are going to be among those women who will be used to provide ‘off-pitch’ entertainment for football fans in Germany (June 9 – July 9).
The main venue in Berlin now has a 3000-metre fenced-in area filled with ‘performance boxes’, equipped with condoms and showers and looking like toilets. This ‘pitch’ will accommodate 650 clients. There is parking provision, with a special focus on protecting ‘anonymity’.
The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW) quotes a lawyer working for the contract as saying: “Football and sex belong together”...
Campaigners are urging people to write politely to FIFA, the Football Association, the England Football Supporters Club, the Minister for Sport in the UK and the German government and embassies %u2013 asking them to explain what is being done to check that all the women are working of their own free will, without pressure or fear.

Not in Germany…

Prostition is an issue in itself, the even more disturbing thing is the abuse and traffic of women across Europe, especially from Eastern Europe and ‘the Two-thirds world’. CHASTE http://www.chaste.org.uk/ is a very good organisation seeking to raise awareness of the issue and trying to do something to work against this and assist those caught in the cycle of abuse that sex trafficing is founded on.
